I use various NLP techniques to work with the unconscious mind to help move you towards positive change.

If you are holding on to negative emotions, beliefs and patterns; until you change them you keep running the same story over and over.

I work with you to help re-focus your attention on what you want for your life and use various techniques to release what is standing in your way.

All habits and beliefs have been learned and are generated by the unconscious mind and are therefore out of our awareness. Our unconscious thoughts are based on previous experiences; so, if a situation is one that we’ve encountered before, we use our ingrained behaviours without thinking about what we’re doing. This is also true for limiting beliefs; you may be letting a belief that you formed at a young age hold you back today, such as “I am unworthy”. This is only a belief; it is not true and therefore can be changed at an unconscious level to a belief that will empower your life.


Through the use of a wide range of methods and models working with the conscious and unconscious mind, it is possible to establish how your thoughts, behaviours, values and beliefs keep you within your current situation. It is possible to rapidly change whatever needs to be changed to bring about a positive change in your life, increase self-awareness, improve communication and change outdated patterns of behaviour.

The conscious mind represents 10% of who we are (right now as you sit reading this information you are consciously aware). The unconscious mind represents 90% of who you are (every moment of our life…our past, our experiences, our thoughts, our beliefs).

Your unconscious mind is very receptive to positive suggestions; therefore, I work with you to reframe the way you think and feel about things, replacing negativity with thoughts and feelings which are more advantageous to you. This then drives you to automatically and naturally make better choices.

Not everyone may require a full breakthrough, in which one or two individual sessions might be all that you need. In order to make a proper assessment, I offer a free 15-minute phone intake to determine your needs.

Should you move forward with individual sessions based on your personal needs, I use Neuro Linguistic Programming Techniques, Time Line Therapy and Hypnotherapy to address areas such as:

Neuro-Linguistic Programming studies how thinking can influence feelings and behaviours.

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California, United States in the 1970s.

NLP is how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve our desired outcomes. In order to achieve our desired results, we must first learn and understand the process of communications between others and within ourselves.

A key element of NLP is that we form our unique internal mental maps of the world as a product of the way we filter and perceive information absorbed through our senses from the world around us.

NLP is the practice of understanding how people organise their thinking, feelings, language and behaviour that produces the results that they do. By understanding the patterns in which we communicate to ourselves and the habits and behaviours that support them helps to identify the areas to change. Once we can identify these areas, we can then work towards creating new beliefs, values and strategies to move towards the highest intention for ourselves.

NLP differs from most therapies in that it is solution-oriented. It is not interested in analyzing and dissecting a problem, but rather on focusing on finding a satisfactory outcome for clients. In doing so it has the ability to bring about lasting and constructive change. NLP can give you the tools and coping mechanisms to change your normal patterns of behaviour, break from unhealthy cycles, and give you the freedom you need to respond and react in a healthier, more positive and beneficial way. NLP can be applied to pretty much anything where you want to improve how you do something, how you feel and how you think.

Neuro: The mind and how we think.
Neuro stands for the mind and how it influences and controls the body. It is much more than just the physical brain; rather, it is the way that the brain affects the body on both conscious and unconscious levels. This is about the neurology and how information is processed via the 5 senses.

Linguistic: How we use language and how it affects us.
Linguistic refers to the language and how we use language, both verbal and otherwise, and how that language consciously and unconsciously creates ‘internal representations’ of experience. Language is a powerful window into what a person thinks, and by observing a person’s language, it is possible to discover a great deal them

Programming: How we code and give meaning to these experiences and how this programming creates habits, behaviour, physiology and results.
Programming is not about programming a person to think, do or feel a certain way; instead, it is the process of examining the patterns and the thinking the person uses habitually (their programs) and how they affect the person’s life. Everyone has their own programs, but most people are not aware of them and how they impact their lives.

Time Line Therapy helps you create rapid, lasting change by enabling you to release the negative emotions and limiting beliefs that are trapped in your unconscious. The processes will help you replace those negative thoughts with positive learning that support your success thereby allowing you to react to a present experience based on present conditions and not react to situations that present themselves today based on emotions linked to events from the past.

Time Line Therapy was developed by Tad James, Ph.D. in the 1980s. The Time Line is how we encode and store memories to differentiate the past, present and future.

Time Line Therapy is a process that in minutes can assist with:

  • Letting go of Negative Emotions (Anger, Sadness, Fear, Old Hurts, Guilt etc.)
  • Letting go of Limiting Decisions (i.e.: I’m not good enough, I’m not smart enough etc.)
  • Relieve Anxiety
  • Helps to work towards creating your future the way you want it

Misplaced emotional reactions such as angry outbursts and limiting decisions create false limitations which prevent you from achieving the quality of life that you desire and stop you from being able to create reachable and attainable goals and outcomes.

Time Line Therapy is a technique that allows us to work at the unconscious level to aid in moving past limiting beliefs and misplaced emotional experience by guiding a person to access specific memories and then learning how to disconnect from the negative feelings associated with those memories.

When negative emotions and limiting decision have released a change in behaviour patterns results, allowing a person to react to a present experience based on present conditions and not react to situations that present themselves today based on emotions linked to events from the past.

Hypnosis is similar to guided meditation with a specific intent. It helps you access and shifts your unconscious mind simply and safely. All hypnosis is really self-hypnosis, making this a very empowering technique. It is a voluntary process and is simply a technique that allows for heightened awareness and deep relaxation.

Hypnosis has been used for thousands of years for treatment and healing of various problems.

Hypnosis is an altered and heightened state of awareness that is sometimes referred to as a trance state. It is a natural state of mind that causes deep relaxation that allows the mind to be open to the transformation of thoughts/habits. The hypnotic state allows the relaxation of not only the physical body but also the gateway between the conscious and unconscious minds which allows a person to be more open to discussion and suggestion.

When working with your unconscious mind in a relaxed state. Your unconscious mind is not just the part of the mind that breathes air into your lungs while you sleep, it’s the powerhouse within that allows for learning, change and transformation. In fact, all learning, behaviour and change occur at the unconscious level. And gaining rapport with the unconscious mind through hypnosis proves incredibly valuable in terms of getting the goals you set.

Here are some common concerns about hypnosis:

  1. Will hypnosis make me tell secrets? No. You are fully alert and you still have a choice and will not divulge anything you do not want to divulge.

  2. Will hypnosis make me do something against my will? No. The people you see on stage have a desire to do something outrageous which is why certain suggestions work on them.

  3. Is hypnosis mind control? No. A hypnotherapist can make whatever suggestions they want, but only those which are accepted by the client as being moral and ethical will make a difference.
